Rock in the Red Zone – Documentary Screening

Rock in the Red Zone is a 2015 documentary film directed and produced by Laura Bialis about the rock and roll bands that have come out of Sderot, a town in southern Israel that has been under almost daily attack for many years by Qassam rockets fired from Gaza by Hamas and Islamic Jihad – up until October 7th 2023 when everything changed.

The screening will be followed by a Q & A with Director Laura Bialis.   Laura Bialis graduated from Stanford University and  Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television.

Bialis was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and currently resides in Tel Aviv, Israel.
