Combating Antisemitism Summit – Massachusetts Schools
June 10, 2024 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm EDT
Violence and hate incidents targeting Jewish residents of Massachusetts are surging, especially in our K-12 schools, affecting all students, parents, and teachers. While initial efforts are underway at various levels of government to attempt to address these concerns, our leaders need to hear directly from those most affected by this historic rise in hate targeting Jews.
Formatted as a “Community Hearing,” this special event will feature students, parents, and educators from the American Jewish, Israeli-American, Russian Jewish, Persian Jewish, and other immigrant Jewish communities, along with concerned residents of Massachusetts from across the Commonwealth, to share their experiences with antisemitism in our public schools.
Local, state, and federal officials and educational leaders are invited to listen to testimony and ask questions of the community participants.
If you are an elected official, community leader, or organization that would like to participate in or co-sponsor this event, please email our Massachusetts team at: Mass@IsraelUSA.org
